OUR SPORT REGULATORS
CIASA is the recognised national governing body of aquatic sports in the Cayman Islands and is an affiliated member of the organisations listed below.
Fédération Internationale de Natation (FINA), is the world governing body established the purposes of developing, promoting, organising, supervising and directing the aquatic disciplines of swimming, open water swimming, synchronised swimming, water polo, diving and high-diving.
Union Americana de Natacion (Swimming Union of the Americas) is a confederation established for the purposes of developing, promoting, organising, supervising and directing the aquatic disciplines of swimming, open water swimming, synchronised swimming, water polo, diving and high-diving, in accordance with the rules and regulations of FINA in the Western Hemisphere.
Confederacion Centroamericana y del Caribe de Aficionados a la Natacion (Central American and Caribbean Amateur Swimming Confederation) is a confederation established for the purposes of developing, promoting, organising, supervising and directing the aquatic disciplines of swimming, open water swimming, synchronised swimming, water polo, diving and high-diving, in accordance with the rules and regulations of FINA in Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean.
