Medal Haul & New CARIFTA Time On Day 3 In Toronto

 
A medal haul of 1 Gold, 4 Silver and 1 Bronze, plus a new CARIFTA Qualifying Time was the order of the day in Toronto.

Matthew Somerville sprinted to victory in the 11/12yrs 50m butterfly to strike GOLD in a new CARIFTA Qualifying Time of 35.01.

Silver medals went to Zororo Mutomba in the 10yrs& under 200m freestyle (her time of 2:43.28 being only 0.09secs behind gold), Coral Tomascik in the 15/17yrs 200m freestyle (2:17.91), Jordan Crooks in the 9/10yrs 50m butterfly and Iabella Tognazzo in the 14yrs 200m freestyle (2:22.24).

Lauren Hew took bronze in the 13yrs 200m freestyle with a time of 2:26.66.
