Geoffrey Butler Blows Them Away In Plymouth

Geoffrey Butler blew away the opposition on the opening night of the Plymouth Leander Open Meet.

Swimming in the 1500m freestyle, Geoffrey maintained superb pacing to take the 17yrs+  title in a huge lifetime best of 16:30.55; some 16 seconds ahead of his nearest rival.

The time, outstanding for his first long course outing of the season, sees him get closer to the 2014 Commonwealth Games Qualifying Time of 16:22.49
