Jordan Crooks Takes Down CIASA Record

 
Jordan Crooks continued his record breaking ways by taking down the CIASA 9/10yrs 100m freestyle record at the Highlander Invitational Meet in Orlando.

Utilising his athletic abilty, technique and turn of speed, Jordan blasted his way to a time of 1:13.67 to slash almost 1.5 seconds of the previous record which was set in 2000 by Brett Fraser and take 5th place. 

Sophie Ackerley and Stefano Bonati were also close to setting new CIASA figures in the 8yrs & U category; Sophie's 54.76 being just 0.18 outside the current record and Stefano's 53.86 just 0.56 outside.

Top 10 finshers for today were

Jordan Crooks 5th 100m free (1:13.67) and 5th 50m breast (47.63)

Zororo Mutomba 9th 11/12yrs 100m free (1:10.89)

Emily Link 10th 9/10yrs 50m breast (50.46)
