Pedraza and Wilimovsky Battle It Out Over 10km

 
Joe Pedraza and Jordan Wilimovsky batted it out yet again over 10km at the Flowers Sea Swim held off Seven Mile Beach.

Swimming stroke for stroke over the 2 lap rectangular 5km course, the race came down to the wire as the swimmers entered the finishing chute, a battle royale ensuing during the final 6 strokes.....Pedraza emerging victorious by a mere 0.3 seconds! This great race echoed and reflected the finish from Saturday's One Mile Race where Pedraza took the title and a new course record by 0.5 seconds. Jordan Wilimovsky's teammate, Nicholas De Vito was 3rd.

In the Men's 5km event  Cayman's very own Alex McCallum took bronze; Scott Simmer taking the honours with Mark Halson in 2nd place.
