Medals and Records For Jackson Sisters In Sarasota

 
Alison and Sarah Jackson were once again on the records and medals trail at the Sharks Open Meet in Sarasota.

Ali raced to a bronze medal in the 9/10yrs 50m breaststroke with a new CIASA & National Record Time of 42.90; she also set new CIASA and National figures in the 9.10yrs 50m butterfy of 37.65 when taking 5th place.

Not to be outdone, Sarah powered here way to a silver medal and a new National Record of 38.33 to take silver in the 11/12yrs 50m breaststroke.

Alex Dakers and Stefanie Boothe both swam to lifetime best performances during the final session; Alex going 40.62 to place 5th in the 11/12yrs 50m breaststroke and Stefanie also placing 5th in the 11/12yrs 50m butterfly in 31.53.

In the prelims session backstrokers Cole Morgan, Catriona Macrae, Ella Plunkett and Samantha Bailey put in some fine performances; Cole racing to a 1:07.96, Catriona a 1:14.90, Ella a 1:15.70 and Sam a 1:16.99.

The team now embark on a one week training camp in Sarasota before racing next weekend at the St.Petersburg Meet.
