Double Gold and Records For Alison Jackson

 
Alison Jackson was once again on the golden trail during the second session of the St.Petersburg Open Meet.

She powered her way to gold in the 9/10yrs 50m breaststroke and 9/10yrs 50m freestyle; her times of 42.01 and 32.81 being new CIASA and National Long Course Records. Not to be outdone, sister Sarah raced to gold in the 11/12yrs 50m breaststroke (38.48) before going on to take bronze in the 11/12yrs 50m freestyle in a new National Record time of 30.40.

CARIFTA medallist Samantha Bailey, took the 11/12yrs 100m backstroke title in 1:16.64 and secured bronze in the 11/12yrs 200m freestyle with 2:24.11.

Stefanie Boothe, swimming with increased confidence in every meet, sprinted to victory in the 11/12yrs 50m butterfly (31.81) and completed a Cayman 1-2 in the 50m breaststroke with a silver medal winning time of 40.91.

Riley Doyle looked impressive as she added a silver medal to the Cayman collection; her time of 57.60 giving her second spot in the 8yrs&U 50m breaststroke.

In the boy's events Alex Dakers hit the top spot in the 11/12yrs 50m breaststroke in 40.56 whilst Liam Sinclair held stroke to take silver in the 9/10yrs 50m butterfly with 42.27.
