Jazmin Carlin Put's Demons Behind Her
British swimmer, Jazmin Carlin, has certainly had to cope with the highs and lows over the past few years;injury and sickness forcing her to miss the 2012 London Olympic Games.
BUT in true inspirational fashion she stuck with it, overcame adversity and at last week's British World Trials stole the show with an 8:18.58 800m freestyle (fastest in the world) and a 15:47.26 1500m freestyle (2nd fastest in the world)
When her coach,Bud McAllister, was asked what her mindset was when she returned to the pool this year he simply replied
"She just got straight down to business. She went to the distance lane on Day 1 and stayed there!"
