Swimmers Into Finals and 100% PB Strike Rate

Cayman Swimmers continued to fire up the pool during the morning heats at the Island Games in Bermuda.

Inspired by Lara Butler's opening swims, Alex McCallum raced to a 1 second PB of 28.40 to sneak a place int\ tonight's final: Alex will be in lane 8.

Coral Tomascik swam to a lifetime best of 2:12.07 in the 200m freestyle but narrowly missed the final by finishing 9th.

Geoffrey Butler, the CARIFTA medals machine; using the 200m IM as a warm up swim for tonight's 1500m freestyle, popped in a surprise lifetime best of 2:13.07 to secure 7th spot for the final.

The Men's 4 x 50m Medley Team (the dream machine!) qualified as fastest for tonights final with a 1:46.43; the splits being: Alex mccallum 28.58, Shaune Fraser 28.73, Brett Fraser 22.82, Geoffrey Butler 26.30.
