Ella Just Outside Lifetime Bests

Ella Plunkett swam just outside her lifetime best performances in the 50m & 200m backstroke at the irish National Age Group Championships held in Dublin.

Having already PB'd in the 50m breaststroke, 50m butterfly and 100m backstroke, Ella was looknig to improve on the times she posted at the recent St.Petersburg Meet. However, she fell slightly short with a 36.06 50m backstroke and 2:41.05 200m backstroke.

Ella has made huge strides over the past season but as a perfectionist will be be slightly disappointed not to have moved on one more notch.

As a young inexperienced swimmer she has coped well with the travelling and training with a new team...all good experience for the future.
