Lauren Hew Opens Her Account In Montreal

Lauren Hew started her Canadian National Age Group Championship campaign with a 12th place finish in the 13yrs 200m backstroke.

Racing in the spectacular Montreal Pool, Lauren took out the race in a blistering 1:12.89 (the 6th fastest 100m split) to finish in 2:34.09.

Lauren is 2nd reserve for the final.

Now that she has settled into the running of the meet and the level of competition finals placing in the 50m & 100m backstroke are looking likely.
