Lauren Hew Blasts CIASA Record To Qualify 2nd Into Final

Lauren Hew blasted her own 13/14yrs CIASA 50m backstroke record in the prelims of the Canadian Age Group Championships to go through as 2nd fastest for tonight's final.

Now familiar with the pool, the meet and the competition, Lauren powered her way down the 50m sprint in 32.19, taking almost 1 second off her own CIASA & National Record.
