3 More Short Course World Records

The waters of the short course pool in Eindhoven were BOILING as the crowd were treated to 3 more World Short Course Records at the FINA World Cup.

Katinka Hosszu destroyed the field in the final of the 200m IM to wipe her own record (set in the morning prelims) off the books and rewrite the mark with a 2:03.20.

Chad Le Clos powered his way to a new record time of 1:49.04 in the 200m butterfly while Ranomi Kromowidjojo blasted her way to a 23.24 50m freestyle.

The World Cup circuit could proved very lucrative for some with a World Record bringing a bonus of $10,000 and the accumulation of points at the end of the tour resulting in prize money for Top Males and Top Females of

1st Place      $100,000

2nd Place     $80,000

3rd Place      $30,000

Nice pennies in return for FAST SWIMMING!
