| Dear CIASA Members During the 2016 Annual General Meeting of CIASA, the members approved resolutions to (a) change the name of CIASA from "Cayman Islands Amateur Swimming Association" to "Cayman Islands Aquatic Sports Association"; and (b) to amend and restate the memorandum and articles of association with which CIASA was incorporated in 1986 with a modernised version. It is our pleasure to confirm that the Cayman Islands Government approved the changes and during its Bureau Meeting held pm 30 November 2017 in Sanya, China, FINA approved the change of name and form of amended and restated memorandum and articles of association. Therefore, the effective date of the changes is 30 November 2017. Moving forward, you will note that all references to CIASA shall be to the Cayman Islands Aquatic Sports Association. A copy of the amended and restated memorandum and articles of association can be found on the CIASA website CIASA has also completed its registration under the newly enacted Non-Profit Organisations Law, 2017.
