Please see message below from the Hew Family:

Dear Michael,

We are thrilled to let you know that having now signed a Letter of Intent with Florida State University Athletics in November 2017, Lauren has now officially been accepted into the 2018 summer semester at FSU and will begin school and training in June.  This is an important milestone in Lauren's swimming career.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to CIASA for all of the support received during Lauren's early developmental years without which, she would not have attained this recent accomplishment. The support of the CIASA Technical Director and the opportunity to compete in local and international meets such as club meets, CIASA Nationals,  CARIFTA, The Commonwealth Games, Islands Games and the FINA World Championships has prepared Lauren well for the high level of competition she faces in the Florida High School system and for the next 4 years in a NCAA Division 1 standard.

While CIASA may sometimes face criticism when decisions do not please all, Lauren's development can be in large part be credited to the success of CIASA and the swim programs.

We would once again like to express our gratitude to the CIASA Board members, past and present, and the many volunteers that allow CIASA to run effectively and  for their service to Cayman's swimming community.

With kind regards,

The Hew Family
