The Honorable Minister Osborne Bodden And CIASA Vice President Michael Lockwood introduced the 2014 Cayman Islands National Junior Team on Thursday the 13th of March. The Junior Team will compete at the 2014 CARIFTA Championships to be held in Aurba beginning 21st of April with competition concluding on 26th of April. Cayman Islands Amateur Swimming Association named Olive Balderamos Volunteer of the Year. Olive is both a pool and open water official. Olive has traveled internationally represented the Cayman Islands as a swimming official. She has also been instrumental in the overall development of open water officials in the Cayman Islands. This fall she hosted the Cayman Islands first ever FINA open water officials clinic. Olive, on the left, is pictured here with Open Water Pioneer Frank Flowers and Official Pat McCallum.

Stingray Swimmers are traveling to Kingston Jamaica this weekend. The trip to the Christmas Open is an annual event for the Cayman Islands oldest swim club. The meet begins Friday December the 13th and last three days at the National Stadium.
