Treasure Island Swimming Club will take it's first every travel swim meet trip the week. The team will travel to Clearwater Florida for the Jingle Bells Swim Meet hosted Clearwater Aquatics. The meet runs 13 - 15 December 2013 and will be swam in short course yards, the traditional United States short course format. Swimmers attending the meet with Coach Darren are: Sophie Superfine Jasmine Lambert-Wragg Keniine Bush Natalie Majors
Camana Bay Swim Club swimmers are traveling to Quebec Canada this week for the Pointe-Claire Provincial I & II Invitational. The meet starts Thursday December the 12th and finishes Sunday December the 15th. Ms. Brunemann, a graduate of the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and currently a professional swimmer, is a four-time FINA World Cup 10K Open Water Champion, 1,650 yard freestyle NCAA Champion, and two-time 1,500 meter freestyle and 10K Open Water USA National Champion. CUC's President and CEO Richard Hew welcomed home Cayman Olympian Brett Fraser and US swimmer Michael Vernoia. This year marks the 25th annual CUC sea swim. Brett and Michael will compete in the CUC 800 meter Sea Swim Oct. the 12th. The race begins at Public beach at 4:00 pm. Individuals may enter the Sea Swim beginning at 3:00 pm at Public Beach.
