The invitation to swim with the Olympians at the 200m/400m sea swim proved extremely popular, with over 100 competitors participating. Swimmers, young and older, were delighted to swim alongside swim stars; Conor Dwyer, Liam Tancock and Caitlin McClatchey.....such a wonderful experience! Participants had several photo opportunities a Governors Beach ...and one such swimmer, Audrey Weber, was keen to pose for the camera. Such a great day!

Olympic gold medallist, Conor Dwyer, was unfazed by the reputation of Alex "the Giant Killer" McCallum as he dominated the 400m event at the Care Pharmarcy Sea Swim. Having noted the press coverage from the Pirates Week 5km where McCallum pipped Olympic 5km Champion Oussami Melouli at the post ( Dwyer even sent a copy of the article to his friend!), he was determined not to make the same mistake. A powerful opening 50m gave him an unassailable lead and saw him win in an outstanding open water time of...

The first of the Olympians Swim Clinics for Cayman swimmers was held at Camana Bay Pool yesterday and the 30 swimmers who attended had an amazing experience. World Class swimmers, Liam Tancock and Caitlin McClatchey gave them an insight into the development of their careers from age group swimmers to senior athletes and shared with them the skills and drills that have put them at the top of their game. Camana Bay Aquatic Club swimmers were involved in head to head racing with Cleveland State University swimmers this morning. In an aptly named Green Turtle Invitational Dual Meet, the two teams enjoyed excellent camaraderie and competition...a number of fine performances coming from both teams. Great to see!
