Visiting Parlaympian, Emma Hollis, featured twice on Radio Cayman yesterday. Emma gave two entertaining and inspirational interviews; one on the Talk Today Show (12.00) and one on Let's Talk Sports (8.00pm). Way to go Emma!

Emma Hollis, double world record holder (S8) and 9 times European Medallist. gave a short presentation to CBAC swimmers last night before giving them a practical demonstration of her stroke and turning technique. She then joined them for part of their training session. And..a good time was had by all! This morning she joined The Governor, Duncan Taylor, for an early morning sea swim...a quick one mile effort to get her ready for Saturday's 800m Sea Swim. Why not come and join Emma this weekend when CBAC host the final...

Alex McCallum is enjoying himself on training camp at Loughborough University. Alex, who will be studying and swimming at Loughborough University from this September, is braving the snow and freezing weather to train with his future teammates. At the end of the month he will compete in the Sheffield Premier Meet. Good Luck Alex... Enjoy the experience.. and Swim FASTTTT!

Outlining her journey to becoming one of the best S8 swimmers in the world, Emma wowed them with her positive attitude, and effervescent personality. More visits and talks to come. The CIASA AGM is being held tonight at St.Ignatius School and starts at 7.00 pm. Annual Reports will be delivered and there will be an election of Officers and Directors. Pop along and get involved!

Visiting Paralympian, Emma Hollis, was soon in the swim. Emma, Double World Record Holder, arrived on Saturday evening and was in the pool on Sunday morning for a 2hr workout. After another 2hr practise this morning she gave a short inspirational talk to girls from John Gray High School before heading to the Dept of Sport to meet the staff. Seems it's going to be an action packed 10 day visit for the pocket rocket!

Fun, Frolics an Fast Swimming were on tap at the Shamrock Splash Invitational...(Coach Katie and the swimmers are pictured providing a little entertainment during the interval) The meet, organised by Camana Bay Aquatic Club, was designed specifically for the 10yrs&under swimmers; a chance for them to practise their race skills in a positive environment. A great time was had by all....and...once the official results are available we may even have another couple of CIASA Records Cayman Swimming... It;s all happening!

The Cayman Team bound for CARIFTA came together for the first of their Team Building sessions in the pool...and a it turned out to be a huge success. The team took part in pre pool and 'in water' activities designed to challenge, motivate and reinforce the camaraderie required for a successful meet. A good time was had by all... and the team is looking ready to race.!
